Andrew Pae has joined Death Wish Racing. As a new member, his primary responsibilities for the team will be to administrate the team home page and act as chief technician.

Honda NT650 has been purchased for Death Wish Racing. It was bought from a fellow in the New England area and delivered courtesy of Mark Polansky. Thanks for the long haul, Mark.

  March 14 & 15, 1998

D.W.R. compteted in WERA C class at Road Atlanta Saturday and Sunday. For more details about the race refer to the "Race Journals" found on this site.

  March 16 to ???

D.W.R. will initiate the tedious process of converting the new Hawk to race standards. So far the clip-ons have been installed along with a full D&D exhaust system and a cleaning of the carburetor. We'll inform you soon as to how the task is going.

  April 2, 1998

Many of you have asked about team logos and patches and where to get them. Currently, we do not carry any but are still debating over the idea. Because of D.W.R.'s tight budget, this is very difficult for us but may be something that may occur in the near future. With constant replies from the fans, the team may consider. Wish us luck and thanks for all the support.

  April 3, 1998

The D.W.R. Team page has been fully revised and up to date.

  May 14, 1998

Tentatively, there will be no scheduled races until August of 1998. Sorry guys.

  Sometime in June

D.W. Racing has decided to switch to the Honda RS125 racebike. We've decided that upkeep costs on the RS125 would be much less than the Hawk along with a myriad of other reasons. To all the Hawk fans out there, sorry--we've loved the bike too.

  August 20, 1998

Currently, we are prepping the bike for the race in Talladega. Weather conditions don't seem that admirable, however. Come on by and see us on Saturday. The Honda RS125 is black with fluorescent yellow number plates. We're still number 555. We'll see you there and wish us luck.

Please forgive me for the extremely late update. This may be the final post for DeathWish Racing. Due to the unforseen theft of our racebike, Death Wish Racing shall be withdrawing from motorcycle racing at this time. As much as we regret this decision, we lack the funds to purchase a new bike. In the unlikely event that our racebike is recovered or we win the lottery and can afford a new bike, you'll see us back on the grid. Until then, look forward to seeing us trying to compete in SCCA SoloII auto-cross! We will be campaigning a totally stock 1987 Toyota Corolla FX-16 GTS; AKA my daily driver. Hey, it's the only racing we can afford right now.

P.S.- If anyone has any information regarding the theft of a 93/94 Honda RS125, painted black w/neon yellow number plates, number 555, please call us at (404)633-4939 or e-mail us. There is a cash reward for information leading to the return of our racebike.
